Google

Google's utility and ease of use have made it one of the world's best known brands almost entirely through word of mouth from satisfied users. As a business, Google generates revenue by providing advertisers with the opportunity to deliver measurable, cost-effective online advertising that is relevant to the information displayed on any given page. This makes the advertising useful to you as well as to the advertiser placing it. We believe you should know when someone has paid to put a message in front of you, so we always distinguish ads from the search results or other content on a page. We don't sell placement in the search results themselves, or allow people to pay for a higher ranking there.

Thousands of advertisers use our Google AdWords programme to promote their products and services on the web with targeted advertising, and we believe AdWords is the largest programme of its kind. In addition, thousands of web site managers take advantage of our Google AdSense programme to deliver ads relevant to the content on their sites, improving their ability to generate revenue and enhancing the experience for their users.        What's a Google?    "Googol" is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros. The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, "Mathematics and the Imagination" by Kasner and James Newman.

This Audio Visual system was designed to offer a complete Multi purpose facility for Data presentations / video / DVD / audio / satellite television plus a recreation facility for using a Microsoft X-Box and Sony Playstation with wireless hand controls. For all of the equipment to be integrated into one complete system Viscom provided a custom built 19" wood veneer rack which enabled all of the  hardware to be neatly tiered on steel shelves within the rack allowing cables drawn through to the rear of the rack unit.

The brief was to make this the rack match existing room furniture and a custom wood veneer finish was provided to match the modern room  furniture and fittings in the Conference Room. A lockable smoke glass door covered the front of the equipment rack.

High fidelity sound was provided by a Sony  audio amplifier/receiver along with a KEF 2005.2 audio speaker system plus a KEF sub-woofer for a deep, rich base offering 500 watts of high quality sound sufficient to fill the 45 foot square room.

To enable ease of access to any of the PC inputs, DVD, VHS, Satellite, or games consoles a Crestron ST-1700 touchpanel was provided enabling anyone who wished to use the facility to simple touch the crestron TFT screen to  access any facility. sound levels for each selection can also be selected on the Crestron.

To enable the system to operate a Crestron CP2  processor was installed and programmed making the whole system a  wireless RF facility at a distance over 25ft.
