Project Management
At Viscom AV we always appoint a Project Manager to act between the proposed project and the installation that is carried out. We have identified just how important this role is in terms of ensuring a project runs smoothly for the client, liaison with the other contractors.
Not all projects will require a Project Management, we select the following criteria to distinguish whether Project Management is required:
• Size of the project i.e. a number of rooms to be installed over a given period
• Complexity of the integration
• Liaison with a third party consultant
• Are there third party contractors involved where project coordination is vital
• Attendance at project meetings.
With larger projects we have total control and ownership of the project, this means that they coordinate activity within us and are responsible for delivering the project in full by:
• The coordination of all AV activities with all parties
• Being the main point of contact for the duration of the project
• Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• The production of CAD drawings, if necessary
• The integration of a Project Time chart into the main project
• Compilation of User Guides and Manuals
• Commissioning and handover of the project
